Who determines Gold and Silver Prices?
What affects Gold & Silver Prices?
In periods of uncertainity, where markets are fluid, Gold & silver are frequently considered as stellar investments. Commencing from roughly the mid 90's the gold & silver prices have rose upward a steady path. Such a steady resolute growth in value drove a lot of dealers and investors to buy such desired instruments as Gold and Silver. Those that invested their capital or cash on these metals have gotten out massive returns as the spot silver price and that of Gold has unfalteringly grown. Against the worst financial crisis to befall us, gold & silver prices actually reached a new peak.To really understant the propotions of what i am talking of, you need to look at the current price of silver per ounce (tho' o'er the last few days, this had been ensnared in a closed trading distance between $35 and $42 per ounce) vs the past prices.

Therefore if Gold & Silver prices have kept their place over time, the biggest question that implores to answer then is what actually effects these prices?. I will address 3 cardinal elements that are behind these prices.

1. Demand and Supply. Gold & Silver prices are conditional to these factors. Investing in these metals is definately a reasonable and considered act, although it does come with a big !. WHY is this so? Well given that most folks realise the profitability in keeping gold or silver, its demand is in reality very high, therefore the spot price silver or gold rocks daily due to the great demand and subsequently sold volumes.
